Al Rayyan Sports Club has officially signed with Qatari striker Sebastian Soria for one season. The player leaves Lekhwiya, who last season won the league.
 
The contract was signed last Thursday in the Netherlands where the team is currently based for their preseason training session.
 
The deal was done in the presence of the club’s Head of Football Mr Ali Salem Ofaifah, the Team Manager Mr Mazkar Al Shafi.
 
Soria joined the training camp as well as the training sessions in preparation for the new season.
 
The player is 31 years old and has scored 145 goals in 218 career appearances in the Qatar Stars League. He has also represented both Al Gharafa and Qatar Sports Club.
