Al Rayyan Sports club succeeded in qualifying to the quarterfinals of the Emir Cup after defeating Al Ahli on penalties in their match played on Friday in the Grand Hamad Stadium. The match was exciting from the beginning as Rayyan took hold of the game.

In the second half Al Ahli also had their chances and put pressure on Al-Rayyan’s back line for long periods. 

With this result Al-Rayyan qualified to meet El Jaish on the 10^th of May 2015.

Rayyan players Tabata, Abdul Karim Salem, Nathan, Luiz and Marco scored Al-Rayyan’s penalties.

Al Ahli players Kabango, Bilal Abdel Rahman and Sayed Jala scored for Al Ahli but player Younis Ali missed the fifth one.
