<p>Al Duhail is currently busy preparing for what will be a hectic football season for the top Qatari football side.</p><p>Al Duhail are set to play a series of friendly matches in preparation for their AFC Champions League matches against Al Sadd next month.</p><p>The two Qatari football clubs meet in the quarterfinals of Asia's biggest club event.</p><p>Al Duhail are currently camped in Portugal for a pre-season training camp where they will play five friendly matches.</p><p>Currently the assembled squad is turning on the heat developing match fitness with extensive on and off the field drills.</p><p>Four of Qatar national team players - who were away on national duty during last month's Copa America in Brazil - have also joined the Al Duhail squad.</p><p>Asim Marino, Abdullah Alharq, Bassam Al Rawi and Karim Boudiaf were the players with national squad.</p><p>Moroccan Mehdi Ben Atta has also joined his Al Duhail team mates after completing African Nations Cup duty with his national side.</p><p>Belgian professional Edmilson is also expected to complete a new deal with Al Duhail before joining the squad in the coming days.</p><p>A key stage of Al Duhail's pre-season training camp will begin on Wednesday. This stage will focus on the squad's match preparedness. </p><p>Al Duhail are scheduled to play matches on July 10, 14,18, 22 and 26. </p><p>Al Duhail will play their AFC Champions League matches against Al Sadd on August 6 and 13.</p><p>On August 17, the same two teams will clash in the one-off season-launching Sheikh Jassim Cup.</p>
