
Former head coach Zlatko Kranjčar announced his resignation after leading Ahli on a streak of just one win in six QSL games. Leaving the Brigadeers in 11th place in the QSL standings, the club moved quickly however announcing that current assistant and former Meisameer coach Youssef Adam will be in charge of the team till the end of the season.
Al Ahli’s business didn’t stop there as they announced a swap deal with Qatar Sports Club for Moroccan international striker Mouchine Iajour. The former Moghreb Tétouan men has failed to hit the heights with the Kings this season, and concluded his move to Ahli late last night.
Going the other way will be Ahli’s January signing Danilo Carando who has signed a short term deal with the Kings.
Youssef Adam will lead Ahli into their next match in the QSL, which is a tough test against Al Sadd on Thursday the 4th of Febuary at Al Sadd stadium.
