<p>Al Ahli have launched their pre-season training at the Aspire Academy football pitches.</p><p>The training session on Saturday was headed by coach Ruben de la Barrera who took over the reigns midway through last season from Milan Machala. </p><p>The training session saw the participation of most of the squad members. </p><p>Al Ahli recently signed Moroccan player Nabil Al Azhar who has joined Dutch star Nigel de Young and Iran's Umeid Brahimi. </p><p>Al Ahli is expected to complete it's roster of four foreign players in the coming days. A solid center back is what can serve Al Ahli well in the new season.</p><p>The training session for the new season will continue at Aspire Academy for a week before the side leaves for the Netherlands on July 15. </p><p>The pre-season training camp in Europe will last for two weeks, the club announced. </p><p>Last season, Al Ahli finished the QNB Stars League points standings with a tally of 34 points. Al Ahli posted 10 wins last season.</p>
