Umm Salal defeated Al Duhail 2-1 in Week 15 of 2025-2026 season Doha Bank Stars League at the Al Khor Stadium on Wednesday.

Al Duhail received two red cards and also saw their goalkeeper Salah Zakaria save a penalty (27th minute).

Antonio Mance (45+4 minute) and Naim Laidouni (72nd minute) scored for Umm Salal, while Bassam Al Rawi (51st minute) was on target for Al Duhail.

Al Duhail’s troubles began early when Luiz Martin was flashed with the red card for a foul following a VAR in the sixth minute.

Later, Zakaria was cautioned with a yellow ahead of the spot kick, but he foiled Oussama Tannane’s attempt by diving to his left.

In the 37th minute, Benjamin Bourigeaud received a second caution and the red card.

In added time of first half, Mance deflected in a Cristo Perez cross. Al Duhail equalised early after the break as Al Rawi scored from a free-kick into the left corner of the net.

Umm Salal then went ahead with Laidouni’s header to a corner kick and the ball bounced before going in.

The result took Umm Salal’s tally to 12 points, while Al Duhail remained on 20 points.
