<p>The 2019-20 season QNB Stars League Week 2 fixtures will witness two matches each being played on Thursday, 29th August, Friday, 30th August, and Saturday, 31st August.</p><p>The fixtures are Al Wakrah vs Qatar SC (17:10, Al Sadd Stadium) and Al Duhail vs Al Arabi (19:20, Al Janoub Stadium) on Thursday, Al Khor vs Umm Salal (17:10, Al Janoub Stadium) and Al Rayyan vs Al Gharafa (19:20, Al Sadd Stadium) on Friday and Al Ahli vs Al Sailiya (17:10, Al Janoub Stadium) and Al Shahania vs Al Sadd (19:20, Al Sadd Stadium) on    Saturday.</p><p>All matches in the first five weeks this season will be played only at the Al Sadd and newly-opened Al Janoub Stadiums, which have cooling technology.</p><p>Promoted side Al Wakrah and Qatar SC will open the week’s fixtures, with both targeting victory as they had lost in the first round.</p><p>Al Wakrah had lost 1-4 to Al Sadd and will be eager to make an impression in the top flight. On the other hand, Qatar SC had given a mighty scare to strong title contenders Al Duhail before conceding two late goals.</p><p>Next up are Al Duhail and Al Arabi.</p><p>Al Duhail are keen to regain the league shield and get their campaign back on track, having lost the season-opening Sheikh Jassim Cup and exited from the AFC Champions League in the Round of 16 stage, both against Al Sadd.</p><p>Al Arabi too will be eager to continue their winning run, as they had beaten Al Ahli 3-1 in Week 1.</p><p>Al Khor and Umm Salal had both drawn their first-round games, against Al Sailiya and Al Rayyan respectively. Both were creditable results as Al Sailiya had finished third last season and Al Rayyan fourth.</p><p>Al Rayyan will not seek nothing less than three points when they face Al Gharafa, who had beaten Al Shahania 3-0.</p><p>Similarly, Al Ahli and Al Sailiya will fight for full points when they face off in Saturday’s first encounter.</p><p>Al Shahania run into reigning champions Al Sadd in the week’s last fixture.</p>
