
As part of preparations for the new 2026-2027 football season, the Qatar Stars League Foundation, in cooperation with the Qatar Football Association, organized a finance workshop for sports clubs (First Division and Second Division). It was attended by members of the Financial Control Committee and representatives from the Ministry of Sports and Youth and the Qatar Football Association.
The workshop is aimed to review latest developments related to the regulations and requirements for financial control, as well as the circulars issued by the Qatar Football Association and Qatar Stars League Foundation for 2026-2027 season.
It also covered updates to the financial control platform, how to prepare financial plans using the ERP-Dynamics 365 Finance platform, and the operational mechanisms of the Finance Committee and the Central Exploration Committee (CST), all within the framework of the ongoing commitment to developing the financial and technical performance of club companies.

The agenda was reviewed and several topics were discussed, most notably: governance and management; the Central Exploration Committee and its operational mechanism; financial plans for the 2026-2027 season; player and coach intermediaries and the circular issued by Qatar Football Association; relevant circulars regulating the work of the Financial Control Committee; the circular and procedures for settling operational expense payments; and penalties and sanctions for violating the Financial Control Regulations.
A practical demonstration using the Financial Control Platform was presented, linking all clubs (First Division and Second Division), and also how to prepare financial plans through the platform. The workflow between club companies and the Financial Control Committee and Unit via the platform was also explained. In addition, several inquiries and comments from club representatives were addressed.
