We hope to beat Al Khor and that our players avoid injuries: Al Duhail coach Maaloul
Al Duhail coach Nabil Maaloul spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 2 match against Al Khor.
“We have lost the services of Karim Boudiaf and Ismail Mohammed in successive matches to injuries, and we wish Karim recovers in time for our AFC Champions League quarterfinal against Iranian team Persepolis.
“We also hope Ismail recuperates as soon as possible and that our players avoid injuries in the coming games. We will give opportunity to all players and everyone has to be at good physical and technical levels.
“We will definitely aim for a second victory and three points, but the task will not be easy. I told my players that we would face a worthy competitor who have lost their first game and are seeking compensation. Al Khor players will certainly react,” said Maaloul.
Al Duhail defender Mohammed Musa said, “We play every game with the same determination, to achieve a positive result, and the Al Khor match is no different. I have great confidence in the ability of my team-mates and we will achieve a positive result in this match too.
“We will put in all efforts. It’s still the beginning of a new season and the coach has the right options and plans for each game. We will play with all seriousness.”
