We face a difficult task against Al Arabi: Al Duhail coach Faria

Al Duhail coach Rui Faria spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 22 match against Al Arabi.

“We will meet a very good team that plays in an organised manner. They have players of calibre and it will be a strong conflict for us. We face a difficult task.

“We respect the competition and we will play the game with full strength. If we find an opportunity to field a number of substitutes, we will do so. We compete in other tournaments too and we have to work for the better of the squad.

“The game is important because we want to get back to the winning path. We were held to a draw by Al Sadd and then we lost to Al Kharaitiyat. We are also preparing for our match against Al Ain in the fourth round of AFC Champions League on 23rd April. We must fare well, true to our reputation.

“Each season is different. Last season, Al Duhail managed to maintain their superiority right from the beginning at the domestic and continental levels.

“This time around, there was strong competition for the league title and many factors affected us negatively. However, our players are determined to help Al Duhail regain the usual self,” said Faria.
