Umm Salal secure draw against Eredivisie TOP Oss

Umm Salal were held to a 2-2 draw in a friendly match with Dutch Side TOP Oss on Tuesday night. The Qatari visitors took a first half lead through Syrian Mahmoud Al Mawas in the 38th minute, before being pegged back in the second half by their Dutch counterparts, who scored two in succession. Yannick Sagbo was on hand to grab an 86th minute equalizer and share the spoils of the game.

This was the third pre-season friendly for the Barzan’s Falcons as their revitalized squad becomes a more cohesive unit. They started with Yazan Naim in goal, and the outfield players were Adel Rahili, Abdul Rahman Akber, Murad Naji, Rami Fayez, Anas Mubarak, Joao Victor, Hazem Shehata, Nasser Al- Nasr, Mahmoud Mawas and Yanik Sagbo. Umm Salal, led by Spanish Coach Raul Caneda,  was able to test more players in the second half with Hassan Blanc, Diab Al Annabi, Adel Alawi, Hazem Shehata, Adel Arheli and Nasser Al Nas all getting a run out.
