QNB Stars League 2020-21 season top scorers

The 2020-21 season QNB Stars League witnessed fierce competition between players to score goals and help their teams achieve wins and collect points.

In the end, Al Sadd’s Algerian star striker Baghdad Bounedjah topped the list of scorers with 21 goals, thus continuing his brilliance in scoring goals and creating scoring opportunities with decisive passes.

Bounedjah had won the top scorer award in the 2018-19 season with 39 goals. This time, his achievement stood out as Al Sadd were crowned the QNB Stars League champions for a record-extending 15th time.

Al Duhail’s Brazilian forward Eduardo Rodriguez (Dudu) came second with 14 goals.

Qatar SC’s Youcef Belaili, also from Algeria, and Al Sadd’s Spanish player Santi Cazorla were third with 13 goals each.

Then came Al Duhail’s Paulo Edmilson Junior with 12 goals.

Three players scored 11 goals each. They are Al Rayyan’s Yohan Boli, Al Sadd’s Rodrigo Tabata and Al Gharafa’s Jonathan Kodjia.

Next in the list are Al Ahli’s Nabil El Zhar and Al Arabi’s Mehrdad Mohammadi with 10 goals each.

Umm Salal’s Brazilian forward Kayke Rodriguez scored eight goals.

He is followed by Al Sailiya’s Mohanad Ali, Al Wakrah’s Mohamed Benyettou and Al Sadd’s Nam Tae-Hee with seven goals each.

Five players scored six goals each. They are Al Duhail’s Michael Olunga, Al Kharaitiyat’s Rachid Tiberkanine, Al Duhail’s Almoez Ali, Al Gharafa’s Mouad Hassan and Al Khor’s Giannis Fetfatzidid.

Eight players have five goals each to their credit – Al Arabi’s Abdulaziz Al Ansari, Al Rayyan’s Yacine Brahimi, Al Ahli’s Hernan Perez, Al Sailiya’s Ramin Rezaiean, Al Sadd’s Akram Afif, Al Gharafa’s Koo Ja-Cheol, Al Rayyan’s Abdulaziz Hatem and Al Duhail’s Mohammed Muntari.

Two players – Qatar SC’s Anthony Okpotu and Al Gharafa’s Ahmed Al Janahi – scored four goals each.

A number of players scored three goals each, two players scored two goals each and two players scored one goal each besides a few own goals.
