The 2019-20 QNB Stars League’s Week 14 matches will be played on Thursday, 30th January, Friday, 31st January, and Saturday, 1st February, with two matches on each day.

The fixtures are Al Ahli vs Al Khor (16:35, Al Ahli Stadium), Al Arabi vs Umm Salal (18:45, Al Arabi Stadium) on Thursday, Al Wakrah vs Al Shahania (16:35, Al Wakrah Stadium), Al Gharafa vs Qatar SC (18:45, Al Gharafa Stadium) on Friday, Al Sadd vs Al Sailiya (16:35, Al Sadd Stadium) and Al Rayyan vs Al Duhail (18:45, Al Sadd Stadium) on Saturday.

All positions, except two, had remained unchanged in the standings after the Week 13 action. Al Ahli moved from ninth to eighth spot after their 1-0 victory over Al Sailiya, whereas Qatar SC slipped from eighth to ninth after they were held goalless by Al Wakrah.

Al Ahli, on 16 points, run into Al Khor, placed 10th with nine points, in the opening fixture, followed by the Al Arabi (fifth with 18 points) vs Umm Salal (last with eight points) game.

Seventh-placed Al Wakrah (16 points) take on Al Shahania, 11th with eight points in Friday’s first match, which will be followed by the Al Gharafa vs Qatar SC game.

Al Gharafa are in the fourth position with 23 points, while Qatar SC occupy the ninth place with 15 points.

Defending champions Al Sadd, third with 27 points, are up against sixth-placed Al Sailiya (17 points) before the signature match between heavyweights Al Rayyan and Al Duhail on Saturday.

Al Rayyan are second with 28 points, five less than Al Duhail. The contest is sure to be a thriller in all aspects even though Al Rayyan have had some setbacks of late.

The Lions had lost 1-4 to Al Sadd in the 2020 Qatar Cup recently and then suffered a 2-4 defeat at the hands of Al Gharafa last week.

On the other hand, Al Duhail, who had lost 0-4 to Al Sadd in the Qatar Cup final, had recovered to beat Al Arabi 3-1 last week.
