Al Sadd reach Dubai for Al Wasl clash

Al Sadd, on a high after their Qatar Clasico win over Al Rayyan, reached Dubai to play Al Wasl in their AFC Champions League opener on Tuesday.

The game will start at the Zabeel Stadium at 18:00 Doha time.

A total of 20 players, led by the club’s general manager Turki Al Ali, reached the emirate on Sunday evening.

The Wolves are second in the QNB Stars League standings with 40 points, two behind Al Duhail.

The squad consists of Saad Al Dossari, Meshaal Barsham, Abdelkarim Hassan, Morteza Mohammad, Baghdad Bounedjah, Pedro Miguel, Ahmed Suhail, Hassan Al Haydous, Ali Asad, Akram Afif, Salem Al Hajri, Hassan Ahmed, Xavi Hernandez, Musab Khader, Jugurtha Hamroun, Hamed Ismail, Yasser Abubaker, Bahaa Al Leithi, Ali Faridoun and Jihad Mohammed.

Al Sadd are in Group C, which also includes Iran’s Persepolis and Uzbekistan’s Nasaf.
