: QNB Stars League outfit Al Khor is set to feature in three friendlies during their training camp in the Netherlands next month, it was confirmed on Wednesday.

Al Khor will leave for the Netherlands on July 3, the club said. The training camp will end on July 26, just days before the start of the 2018-19 season that kicks off in August.

The friendly matches for Al Khor will be played on July 14, 20 and 25.

Al Khor management expects that the training camp and the friendly matches will help the players tune up for the new season with the right amount of quality training.

Al Khor are set to assemble at the team headquarters this Friday under new coach Adel Al Sulaimi from Tunisia.

The team training is scheduled to start on July 2 until it ends in the Netherlands on July 26.

The training camp - that will last 23 days - will help the coach assess his players' fitness levels and overall preparedness ahead of the new season.

Al Khor will be one of many QNB Stars League teams to feature in training camps across Europe.

New coach Al Sulaimi looks set to kick off training proceedings over the course of next month as the club aims to better it's performance from the last season.

In the 2017-18 season, Al Khor finished the points standings in 8th place.

The club said Al Khor aims to look for a stronger finish in the new season that is just six weeks away.
